Have you ever thought about how people got those cool filters on all of their photos to make their Instagram aesthetically appealing? Or how they can fit a picture that’s too long or wide onto their page? Have no fear, check out these apps below that’ll turn your Instagram page into an Influencer page (not really, but they’ll make your Instagram pretty)
I first started using Instasize when I wanted a full-size photo to literally fit to an Instasize. If I had a picture that was too long (height wise) and would cut off, I’d pull up the Instasize App and upload the photo and it would give me these white borders on the side, however I could now upload the full length of the photo. Instasize has free and premium features. If you get the free Instasize, they have original filters (which are amazing), color editing tools and video editing tools. With the premium, you get over 100 premium filters, over 80 unique borders, beauty tools and exclusive content.
PicsArt is an image editing, collage and drawing app. You can take pictures within the app and then edit them, draw and share your images with the PicsArt community (which a lot of photo editing apps are going towards).
3. VSCO Cam
This is probably my favorite editing App out there. They have a ton of filters to choose from and within those filters you can make other changes to get the desired looks you want. A lot of people sale VSCO filters, but there are tons of FREE VSCO filters you can get off of Pinterest. Vsco also has a sharing feature with the VSCO community. VSCO also gives you a link that you can kind of use as a portfolio if you’re a pro photographer.
4. Camera +
I have the Camera + Legacy app, however there is a newer Camera + 2 app that you can download. I used this heavily in my undergrad days and was obsessed with the HDR filter. I probably slapped the HDR filter on every picture I took from 2013 – 2014. Believe it or not, they have other filters outside of HDR, allows you to put borders on your photos, crop, etc.
When I first got into editing my photos, Rookie Cam was one of the first and main apps I used. They have a lot of filters, film filters (which I absolutely LOVE), texture filters, text, stickers, shapes, etc. Literally one of the best photo editing app in my opinion.
