I remember the first time I heard Will Smith had created an Instagram account. I was going through my stories and a couple of people I followed were giving him a shout out and saying, “Go follow my uncle, Will.” I honestly thought he had, had one this entire time, I just didn’t follow him and I don’t know about you, but my Instagram timeline got a thousand times better once Will Smith joined the app.
He made his debut on December 14, 2017 while on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Ellen taught Will the know all of the social media app. She taught him how to take selfies with a duck face and make mirror selfies. Ellen also taught him how to do a throwback in which they then recreated the 90’s NBC sitcom, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air opening credits scene.
Although, he’s still fairly new to Instagram, Will has accumulated over 19.8 million followers, knows how to make highlights, do stories, videos, hashtags and overall great content.
I personally, just want to thank Ellen for teaching Will about Instagram, because he is the best person to follow for sure, whether it’s a video of him recreating his son, Jaden’s video, a video of his family, a video of him dancing or just Will experiencing life, it’s pretty much brightens my day!
